Kate has over 25 years of teaching experience and teaches flute, piano, saxophone and theory. She teaches both children and adults and prepares many of her students for ABRSM examinations though others just want to learn to play. Her innovative style engenders a passion for music and she is gifted with beginners through to grade 8 students and the very young to the more mature.

She enjoys making music fun and accessible and is the creator of Carnival Zoo® which is a music curriculum for pre-school children taught through adventure stories and games. A former Woking young musician of the year, she graduated from Dartington College with an honours degree in music performance and music therapy.

Kate has an enhanced DBS certificate.
